Which sectors does HAIDO cover?
Food, coffee, cosmetics & health care, pharma and medical devices trading. We also provide consulting and general contracting, from data analysis to the turnkey solution.
What does turnkey solution mean?
A single point of contact follows the whole project: client approach, data analysis, design, supply, installation, start-up and delivery of a plant ready to produce.
Which roasters do you make and with what capacity?
Full electric roasters from 2 to 120 kg and Combitech combined gas + electric systems from 2 to 240 kg, with Siemens control and repeatable roast curves.
What is controlled anaerobic fermentation?
It is coffee fermentation in an oxygen-free environment with monitored parameters such as temperature, time and pressure. Our exclusive technology makes it repeatable, for consistent flavour profiles.
How does oxygen-free degassing work?
Roasted coffee releases CO2 in a nitrogen (N2) saturated environment, never touching oxygen: longer shelf life and preserved aroma. We use the Degassing by Aromatech technology (MOD AROMATECH from 40 kg to 40 tons): the product can be stored for up to 30 days without losing aroma or shelf life.
Which materials and finishes do you use?
AISI 304 or 316 / 316L stainless steel, with satin, micro-blasted or mirror-polished finishes (Ra < 0.5 µm for aseptic use). Frames are powder-coated in coffee brown, sand or matt black.
Which compliance and standards do the plants meet?
We work with MOCA, FDA, CE, ATEX and the reference European and international standards. The applicable compliance is defined for each project.
What does the AI automation software do?
On top of PLC and SCADA it analyses process data, detects drifts and anomalies and automatically optimises recipes, timings and setpoints to improve efficiency and consumption.
Do you offer remote assistance?
Yes. Our team performs diagnostics, troubleshooting and process-curve optimisation remotely, wherever the plant is installed, also through the 3-year Proactive Care programme. Customers with a plant in service can request it 24 hours a day from the Client area.
In how many countries are you present?
We have installed 121 machines in 40 countries, with more than 11 years of industrial engineering experience.
Do you offer financing or leasing?
Yes: trade finance with letters of credit and Incoterms, operating leases and support for Industry 4.0 incentives, such as the Italian hyper-depreciation (iperammortamento), under the conditions in force.
